This book is an interdisciplinary study that examines Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founding leader of the Republic of Turkiye, not merely as a revolutionary or national hero, but as a modern state & nation builder in the fullest sense of the term. Ataturk’s foundational role encompasses more than the formation of a new state; it includes a multidimensional reconstruction process ranging from the redefinition of sovereignty to the establishment of a citizenship regime, from the rule of law to cultural reconfiguration.

Constructed around axes of political theory, public administration, sociology, and philosophy, this study moves beyond Ataturk’s charismatic leadership to analyze his constitutional, institutional, and cultural capacity for state & nation building. Throughout the work, it is argued that Ataturk’s strategic vision was not solely retrospective but involved a forwardlooking design. Emphasis is placed not merely on historical events, but on intellectual continuities and
structural transformations.

The principal aim of this book is not to frame Ataturk’s leadership within an ideological encomium, but rather to conduct a scholarly evaluation of his founding intellect through engagement with universal theories of politics and statecraft.
